My Mini Visit to Twin Peaks

Welcome to Twin Peaks Sign Mural in North Bend, Washington
While I was in Seattle last weekend, I drove the 45 minutes east to check out some Twin Peaks filming locations and I wasn’t disappointed. First, I stopped at the spot where the Welcome to Twin Peaks sign used to be in Snoqualmie, WA. I didn’t realize that the sign itself has been gone for a while, but it was a pretty drive and not too far off from the other stops I wanted to make.

Next I visited the Salish Lodge & Spa aka The Great Northern Hotel where Special Agent Dale Cooper spent his stay in Twin Peaks. The hotel is located atop Snoqualmie Falls and makes for a breathtaking photo op.

Twede's Cafe aka the Double R Diner in North Bend, WA
My third and final stop was Twede’s Cafe in North Bend, WA, better known from the show as the Double R Diner, famous for their cherry pie. I stopped in and ordered a grilled cheese for lunch before heading back west to Seattle.
